2 weeks ago, my brother was shouting, I can’t do this anymore, I can’t. I have tried, at that point I knew something was wrong.

He and his girlfriend (we call her bebe – inside joke) had been in a relationship from university days and they were very close. My brother loved her like no man’s business but it all began when she started complaining that he stopped taking her out for luncheons, dinners or any special functions with his friends. Although he still sent her gifts, she got tired and I personally started to fight with my brother because bebe is nice like that. To cut the long story short, she went to his house and yelled about how she knew he was seeing someone else. She also talked about how she was there for him and how all men were scum.

He then dropped the bomb and said he could not be with her because he was tired of one attribute she had refused to change.

The issue- too much garlic eating, and it gave her mouth an unpleasant odour and that’s why he always bought her Clorets chewing gum as an addition to the gift he sends to her, so she can have fresh breath.

They were #ThisClose to being with each other but bad breath was a deal breaker for my brother. Anyways they reconciled because she started using #Clorets and now they plan to get married after Covid-19. DM me for an invite.
