Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, reality TV star, Cynthia Okafor, popularly known as Cee-C has shut down rumours concerning her relationship with former fellow housemate, Ike Onyema.

In a tweet on her X handle (formerly Twitter), the reality TV star  addressed the issue, declaring “I’m currently single, and if I choose to go into a romantic relationship, it will be my decision whether to share it with you or not. “I want to make it clear that Ike and I are simply close friends.”

Cee-C made this clarification, after she was seen in a viral clip, where Ike was filming her. This led to widespread speculations about the nature of their relationship.

Refuting the rumour, Cee-C said “As a public figure, I understand that my personal life often becomes subject to scrutiny, and it is important to set the record straight. “In a world where friendship between a man and a woman is often misunderstood, I want to emphasize that platonic relationships are not only possible but also valuable”.

In another tweet, the reality star wondered what she should be guilty of, in response to further scrutiny.

She queried: “Is it a crime to be in a relationship or single? The record has been set straight from the horse’s mouth, so there should be no room for rumours or speculations.”

However, Cee-C was in a happy mood yesterday, as she shared the good news of landing a new endorsement deal. “Beyond excited to share that I’m officially the brand ambassador for Chateau Vartely Wines and The Voitis Single Malt Whiskey!
