A first-time mum whose pregnancy cravings for chicken McNuggets lead to her piling on three stone looks unrecognisable after shedding her baby weight.

Sophie Bonsell, 29, ended up tipping the scales at 17st 7lb after her insatiable pregnancy cravings saw her scoffing McDonald’s daily.

The Nottinghamshire nurse would put away a box of 20 nuggets every single day – often alongside extra burgers.

It was only when she gave birth to her son Johnny, now one year old, that her desire for nuggets vanished.

And she realised she needed to sort out her diet.
