Britain host Piers Morgan took aim at US President Donald Trump on the show on Tuesday, after his return to The White House where he claimed “we’re gonna beat” the virus.

He also suggested a vaccine was close, while querying if he was now immune.

Trump was revealed to have tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday before being admitted to a hospital a day later.

Just days on and the president says he is “feeling great” and better than ever, after being treated for Covid-19.

He’s now back in The White House, telling the US public not to fear the virus, and not to let it “dominate their lives”.

Piers slammed the idea of him being a role model, before labelling him a “super spreader” of the virus.
