Prince William and Kate Middleton often sit down with George, Charlotte and Louis to watch Sir David Attenborough’s popular documentaries – but the most recent programme was too upsetting for the oldest Cambridge child

Prince William has admitted he’s “struggling to keep the optimism levels going” with his son George after he made a heartbreaking comment about the environment.

William shared the devastating story as he launched his new Earthshot Prize – the most prestigious global environment award in history – which will offer five, one million-pound prizes to be awarded each year for the next 10 years.

It was an upsetting moment for both George and William
