With coronavirus cases on the rise the supermarket giant made the announcement due to the new three-tier lockdowns and has added that all shops across the UK are subject to change

Sainsbury’s supermarkets are only letting “one adult at a time” into their stores across Leicester and Leicestershire.

The supermarket giant made the announcement due to the new three-tier lockdowns brought in and has added that all shops across the UK are subject to change.

The change has been brought in to keep shoppers safe when visiting the stores and to keep queues down.

The supermarket is asking that people come alone to go shopping but have added that children are able to visit with one parent if they’re unable to stay at home.

As well as the larger stores Sainsbury’s ‘locals’ will be affected too.
