Bashir-El-Rufai’s wife, Halima Nwakaego, has said she purposely chose not to post her husband on social media. 

The mother of two, who is the daughter-in-law to the former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai, disclosed this after a nosey follower questioned why her husband doesn’t appear in the videos she posts on Instagram.

“So apparently you have to post your husband on social media for him to exist as a father and husband. Some of us purposely choose to keep our partners off social media. Please don’t think you know everything about someone because of social media,” she wrote.
