A British motorcycling champion watched his new bride “flip out” of a hotel window in Dubai while searching for her wedding ring, an inquest has heard.

Abbie Elson, 27, fell to her death from their fourth-floor honeymoon suite at Jumeirah Creekside hotel in 2013.

Husband Sean Emmett, 50, rang his brother Jason after he saw Abbie fall out of the window.

The couple were married just days before her death. Abbie fell out of the window while looking for her lost wedding ring, Jason told Woking Coroner’s Court.

He added: “Sean said Abbie had fallen out of a window.

“He said she had lost her ring and had gone down to look for it and got all emotional about it.”
