Far-right agitator Tommy Robinson was today filmed being arrested in London’s Hyde Park.
The English Defence League founder, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was seen shouting as he was detained by officers: “I haven’t done anything wrong.”
He told a supporter that he was being arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon – but claimed he was doing nothing wrong.
A group of supporters surrounded him as officers moved in to detain him.
Lennon, 37, was filmed telling police: “You’re breaking my f****** arm. What are you doing? I’m not resisting.”
Footage of the arrest was livestreamed, with a supporter heard telling him: “There’s 1,500 people watching.”
