The platform for Aviation information, AirHelp has released a list of the top ten worst airports in the world as the platform continues to inform air users.

The list follows the list of the top ten airports in the world which is dominated by airports in Asia. The topping of the list by Asia is not a surprise as the continent has pivoted to catering for tourists. For the industry to thrive, excellent experience, infrastructure and culture at airports have to be cultivated and maintained.

In the list released by AirHelp, Banjamarsin International Airport in Indonesia emerged as the worst airport to travel with. It is followed by Maltese International Airport in Malta in the second place.

For the third place, the popular London Gatwick Airport is followed in the fourth place by Lisbon Delgado in Portugal. Belgrade Nikola International Airport in Serbia and Denpasar International Airport in Indonesia shared the fifth and sixth places respectively. The Canadian Toronto Pearson International Airport and Sofia Airport in Bulgaria were in the seventh and eighth places on the list. Closing up the list are Marseille International Airport in France and Halim International Indonesia in the ninth and tenth places.

The release of the list by AirHelp in a small way helps travelers embarking on trips during the festive Christmas season with information about airports to avoid in their travels.
