Travis Kelce is known for making bold fashion statements with his game day outfits, and Super Bowl LVIII was no different.

On Sunday, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted heading to the big game against the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, decked out in a sparkly black plaid outfit. Kelce accessorized the ensemble with black sunglasses, black boots, and a black duffle bag.

In an Instagram Stories video shared by Kelce’s best friend, Aric Jones, Kelce looked ready to handle business as he jumped inside a black SUV.

Kelce’s barber, Patrick Regan, also gave fans a glimpse of his look on his Instagram Stories, captioning the photo, “Showtime.”

On the eve of Super Bowl LVIII, Kelce reportedly moved some of his teammates to tears with an inspiring game day speech. Veteran NFL reporter Albert Breer reported that Kelce, Chiefs coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and defensive tackle star Chris Jones addressed the team at their hotel in Henderson, Nevada.

According to Breer, Kelce’s speech was “unbelievable” and “powerful.”

CBS Sports‘ Tracy Wolfson gave a similar report, saying that Kelce delivered a “powerful, impactful speech that didn’t leave a dry eye in the house.”

“It was like a WWE-type speech,” Wolfson reported citing a person in the room. “That was the best and most emotional team meeting in years.”

Sunday’s championship marks the Chiefs’ fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years, with Kelce looking to secure his third Super Bowl ring. A win would give the franchise its fourth Lombardi Trophy and the Chiefs would become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots accomplished the feat in 2003 and 2004 in Super Bowl XXXVIII and Super Bowl XXXIX, respectively.

Kelce’s family — including his mom, Donna Kelce, and brother Jason Kelce — is already in Vegas ready to support him, while his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is also expected to be at the game after completing her latest run of Eras Tour dates in Tokyo, Japan. In fact, according to360aproko, the NFL star footed the bill for a luxury suite so that his and Swift’s family and friends can all sit together during the game.

Super Bowl LVIII will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, and airs on CBS. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT). The game will also be streaming on Paramount+, Hulu + Live TV, and FuboTV.
