Her violent boyfriend left her to bleed to death at the bottom of a flight of stairs with 40 injuries to her face and body.

But Natalie Connolly’s multi-millionaire killer will be free to resume his luxury lifestyle when he walks out of prison on Monday.

Now her twin sister Gemma Andrews has told of her family’s agony that brutal John Broadhurst is about to be freed after serving less than two years.

“Spending 22 months for taking ­someone’s life – just how can that be possible?” she said.

“We’ve not had justice. The British justice system failed us.”

Despite their anger, Natalie’s family are pleased that her death has inspired a legal change that will protect countless other women.
