Two people escaped death when the Toyota Camry they were driving in plunged into Geri Alimi Underpass in Ilọrin, Kwara State.

The Sector Commander of FRSC in the state, Stephen Dawulung, who disclosed this to Daily Trust on Sunday, January 14, 2024, said that the accident which occurred on Friday, was caused by brake failure.

He added that although no life was lost, the female occupant got injured. 

He, therefore, warned motorists and drivers to routinely check the state of their vehicles and not wait till they developed faults to avoid injuries and fatalities.
