A 20-year-old student at Coventry University has been found dead in his city centre accommodation, police have confirmed.

The emergency services were called to the Bishop Gate student complex on Tower Street on Friday, were the man’s body was found.

Coventry University has confirmed he was one of their students.

A spokesman for the university said support is being offered to his family at this time.

West Midlands Police has confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
