Toni Drummond, 20, visited a pub in Edinburgh, Scotland, and had to leave her contact details amid the pandemic, but two days later started receiving messages from a “creepy” stranger

Toni Drummond, 20, was having a weekend away with friend Molly Mactavish in Edinburgh on September 12.

Toni Drummond said she was sent creepy texts after giving her contact details at a pub in Edinburgh 

The Test and Protect operation in Scotland means anyone visiting pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions has to leave their name and phone number.

But two days after the night out, Toni said she starting to receive messages from a stranger, Edinburgh Live reports.

Toni, from Glasgow, told The Sun : “We went to dinner at around 6pm and had to write our name and number on a little card on the table at the front.
