After a viewer got in contact saying just how much she’s claimed back by following a single one of Martin Lewis’ tips, the money expert explained exactly where you should be looking for big returns yourself

Martin Lewis called it “unbelievable – it’s one of the biggest success stories I’ve ever had” after one viewer said she’d got a massive sum after watching his show.

And it was won back by grandmother Jill.

Three months ago she realised she might have a claim while watching The Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV – and it’s fair to say it worked out.

“That amount of money is… just incredible,” Gill said.

Gill, 77, married husband Robin 20 years ago. Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer two years later and died in 2008.

“At the time Robin died I got a very basic state pension,” Gill said.
