Family and friends have paid tribute to a grandma who was found dead in woodland following reports of a person seen ‘on fire’.

The body of 48-year-old Julie Ainsley was discovered in the woods in Moston, Manchester, on Saturday evening.

Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Ms Ainsley’s death.

Following the tragic incident, dozens of heartfelt tributes have been paid to the mum and grandma.

Ms Aisley’s heartbroken daughter Jade Riley told the Manchester Evening News her mum was ‘always happy and making people laugh’.
