The Duchess of Sussex vowed to make the world a better place for her young son and also raised concerns about social media users, making a comparison with drug addiction

Meghan Markle says she enjoys the “fun and silliness” with son Archie but vowed to make the world a better place for him.

She also raised concerns that some people are addicted to social media, likening the habit to drug addiction.

Appearing at Fortune’s members-only Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit, the Duchess of Sussex revealed she would not be proud of herself as a mother if she had not tried to “make this world better” for son Archie.

But she added that she was “cautious of putting my family in a position of risk” when speaking publicly, instead choosing topics that are “fairly straight forward”.
