Made In Chelsea viewers have finally got to witness the dramatic moment Sam Thompson discovered girlfriend Zara McDermott had cruelly cheated on him – putting an end to their 16 month romance.

The couple split back in August after a source revealed Zara had enjoyed a tryst with ‘someone in the music industry’ while she appeared in X Factor : Celebrity last year.

Zara managed to keep the scandal secret for months before Sam eventually found out the gutting truth, with his devastated reaction teased on the E4 reality show last night.

The preview clip played at the end of the episode saw Zara in floods of tears during a lunch date with Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing.

A confused Habbs asked if she was OK to which Zara crumpled up her face and replied: “Around a year ago, I slept with someone…”

Her shattered boyfriend Sam is then seen on camera opening up to his best pal Jamie about the infedility.
